Recorded at the Labyrinth, where the cathedral acoustic is at its most superb : a reverberation which is soft, deep, and clear. For over a decade, The Catherine Braslavsky Ensemble has accompanied pilgrims from Grace Cathedral (San Francisco), led and inspired by Lauren Artress, to discover this unique site. A Priest at Grace Cathedral, Lauren Artress was instrumental in convincing the Diocese to re-open the labyrinth. Her work also inspired the creation of hundreds of other copies of the Chartres, as described in her book, " Walking a sacred path “. We are happy and honoured to have been a part of this adventure.
